Grosse Biene

The Flight-8 “Grosse Biene”, an eye-catching performer

Our “Grosse Biene” is your guarantee for lots of fun at the airfield while wowing the spectators with its “1930’s racer” appearance and aerobatic prowess.  Its classic design is reminiscent of the Gee-Bee era with its yellow and black scalloped paint scheme.  Powered by a 45cc gasoline ignition engine, the “Grosse Biene” is the ideal entry into the realm of larger RC models at a moderate price.

Construction: The Flight-8 “Grosse Biene” is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) airplane, constructed using precision CNC machining techniques and top-quality materials, including balsa, plywood, aluminum and a complete accessory package. The wings, fuselage and tail surfaces are of built-up construction (no foam cores) and covered with Ultracote, a high-quality polyester covering film made in Germany. An Ultracote finish guarantees long-term durability, easy maintenance and good looks.

Exciting promotional possibilities: The “Grosse Biene” can serve as a flying “business card” or to promote your own products. On orders of 100 or more, a four-color finish of your own design can be applied, i.e. lettering, company logo, or advertising message. Many variations are available! Your specific inquiries are welcome!
