“Der Graf”, the Flight-8 WW-1 Style Trainer
Our WW-1 style trainer, “Der Graf” is reminiscent of the early Fokker fighters, with its comma-shaped vertical stabilizer, parasol wing, round cowling and antique-style wheels. Powered by a 26cc ignition 2-stroke engine (our DM-26 for example), “Der Graf” is capable of all the basic aerobatic maneuvers like loops, rolls and wingovers. Its take-off and landing characteristics are completely predictable and easy. A take-off roll of only 30 feet gets this big bird in the air, perfect for smaller flying fields! Combine the low operating costs of the gasoline ignition engine with the rugged, transport-friendly design (two-piece wing) and you have an airplane that will become your favorite fun-flyer. |

Construction: “Der Graf” is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) gasoline powered airplane. Modern CNC-machining and high-tech building techniques are employed, using top-quality balsa and plywood for the structure. “Der Graf” is covered with your choice of either German Oracover (Ultracote), which guarantees long-term protection and good looks, or a lower-priced Chinese iron-on covering. The model comes with a very complete set of accessories, including fiberglass cowling, wheels and tank. Only the engine and RC gear are needed to get this WW-1 style trainer flying! We can also offer a complete package including engine! Design your own finish: This model can serve as your “business card” or to promote your own products.
