“Marie ”, The Flight-8 P-51D Mustang!
One of the very best fighters of World War II, the P-51D was used on all fronts and had some very colorful paint schemes. Our choice of the lot was the beautiful Mustang named “Marie”. The Flight-8 design goal was to produce a low-priced, medium-sized, semi-scale airplane with excellent flying characteristics and aerobatic capability, for the “not so competition-minded” RC enthusiast who just loves to fly. We think we achieved that goal: Flight-8 has delivered over 2100 “Marie” Mustangs to happy RC pilots, with more on the way! |

Construction: Our “Marie” is an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) combustion engine or electric-powered airplane. Precision CNC-machining and high-tech construction methods are employed; only the very best quality balsa, plywood and other materials are used. “Marie” is covered with either German-manufactured Ultracote, which guarantees long-term protection and good looks, or a lower-priced Chinese iron-on covering. This bargain-priced performer comes with a very complete set of accessories, including wheels, painted fiberglass cowling, fuel tank and even a retractable gear system! Just install your choice of power plant and RC gear and take “Marie” out for a “flying date” at the airfield!  Specifications
